This seminar provides insights from psycho-social-familial developmental health, as well as the Church’s faith and pastoral perspectives on this matter. It is not meant to be either pro- or anti-LGBTQ+. The seminar explains why the feelings of non-heterosexuality are not chosen by people who experience them, the factors that contribute to them, and the various ways we can respond as a Christ-centered community. Hence, it will also draw on the Church’s faith and pastoral approaches towards understanding and accompanying persons who identify as LGBTQ+.
